As part of its ongoing commitment to developing internationally qualified faculty, three lecturers from LHU's Chinese Language program, including Mr. Lam Chinh Hung, Ms. Pham Mai Minh Thuy, and Mr. Le Dac Toan have been awarded full scholarships by the International Talent Circulation Base (INTACT) to participate in a professional training program on Chinese language teaching in Taiwan from August 16 to 23, 2026.
The program offers valuable opportunities for the lecturers to enhance their teaching expertise while expanding academic cooperation between LHU and universities, educational organizations, and industry partners in Taiwan.
Among the three participants, Lam Chinh Hung is an alumnus of Chinese Language program. During his undergraduate studies, he received a scholarship to study in Taiwan through the University's 2+2 collaborative education program. After completing his master's degree there, he returned to Vietnam and joined LHU as a lecturer. His journey stands as a testament to the effectiveness of LHU's long-standing international partnerships while fostering a strong tradition of graduates who return to contribute as faculty members.
Hosted by Kun Shan University in Tainan, Taiwan, the training program is themed "Chinese Language Teacher Training for Emerging Specialized Programs". Throughout the program, participants will explore teaching approaches for Chinese-language instruction in specialized disciplines, observe classroom teaching, exchange ideas with international educators, and learn about the University's academic model, facilities, and university-industry collaboration initiatives.

INTACT is an organization under Taiwan's Ministry of Education that promotes educational cooperation, talent development, and industry engagement between Taiwan and partner countries. Through the International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE), it supports universities in expanding international partnerships while providing international students with opportunities to study in key industrial fields, undertake paid internships, and improve their career opportunities after graduation.

In recent years, LHU has been one of the Vietnamese universities actively implementing the INTENSE Program. Alongside creating more international study and scholarship opportunities for students, the University has continued to invest in faculty development through professional training, academic exchanges, and collaborative research with overseas partners.

The selection of three LHU lecturers for this fully funded program reflects the strong and effective partnership between the University and its educational partners in Taiwan. It also supports LHU's efforts to further enhance the quality of its Chinese Language program and prepare graduates with the knowledge, language skills, and international outlook needed in today's global workforce.
By promoting faculty exchange, updating innovative teaching methodologies, and expanding collaboration with international partners, LHU continues to build a modern, practice-oriented learning environment, providing students with a strong foundation to succeed in an increasingly global workforce.
